What types of resources are offered for counseling services?

Professional, personal, financial, and academic counseling are available through the staff of Bellin College and UWill. Uwill is the leading mental health and wellness solution for colleges and students. Uwill provides free immediate access to teletherapy and mental health crisis support for all students.

The counselors in the Uwill network are all licensed mental health professionals with extensive clinical experience.

With Uwill, you have the ability to choose a therapist based on your unique needs and preferences (focus area, gender, language, ethnicity), at a time that fits your schedule (day, night, weekend availability), and by the appointment type preferred (video, phone, chat, message). Is there Day Care services available?

Encompass Early Education and Care, Inc. offers a discounted rate for childcare. Information regarding rates and availability can be obtained by calling 920-436-7540. The address is 2589 South Webster Ave., Green Bay.

What type of Health Services are available?

Health services for students are provided by the Bellin Occupational Health Clinics. Students enrolled at Bellin College have their own confidential health record account on file at Viewpoint Inc. Bellin College has the ability to administratively review these records as needed.

Through the Health and Wellness Team at Bellin College, students are able to get the:

• Admission 2-step TB skin test and subsequent annual TB testing as required.
• The college does not pay for Quantiferon gold testing or chest X-rays needed due to positive TB.
• The college does not pay for any labs or vaccines, other than the ones provided by the college.

What type of fitness opportunities are accessible?

Bellin College Wellness Center
The Bellin College campus has a wellness center accessible to students and College employees. The use of the exercise equipment and facilities are available during College hours. Showers and lockers are available. There is no membership cost associated with the use of the wellness center.

Greater Green Bay YMCA
Bellin College has partnered with The Greater Green Bay YMCA to offer students a Y Membership at a discounted rate, plus no joining fee. Memberships include onsite group exercise classes, childcare while you work out, member discounts and priority registration, YMCA360 free on-demand group fitness classes, and a supportive environment to help meet your wellness goals. Stop by or contact a Green Bay YMCA to get your membership started.

What do I need to know about parking?

• Parking Pass:
  Students are given 1 parking pass upon admission to the college. Any changes in vehicle information should be communicated to the Student Services Office.
• Parking While On Bellin College Campus:
  We ask that students park in front of the college and utilize the main entrance. Overflow parking is located in the back of the college.
• Parking During Clinical Assignments:
  Students are expected to follow the parking procedures outlined for their clinical assignments. When students have clinical assignments at Bellin Hospital or St. Vincent Hospital, they are expected to utilize the Bellin Employee Parking Lots. These parking lots are located at various locations off of Mason Street and most have shuttle services available.

How do I see or order my transcripts?

Currently, enrolled students can access their unofficial Bellin College transcript at no charge through the BC Portal at my.bellincollege.edu.

Official Bellin College transcripts may be ordered online or in person.

When do I need to renew my TB testing?

Students are required to have an up-to-date health record, including the required immunizations and the initial 2 step TB screening, and the annual TB skin tests if required by clinical agency. MSN students may be required to have additional testing per their clinical agency. 

CPR Certification and CPR Renewal Training

CPR certification must be from the American Heart Association(AHA) – Healthcare Provider/ Basic Life Support (infant/child/adult). Students will be trained at the College using the RQI (Resuscitation Quality Improvement) system. Students will complete the initial prep course for RQI. On a quarterly calendar basis (January- March, April -June, July- September and October to December), students will be required to complete the ongoing curriculum to verify competence of skills and knowledge. With each quarterly renewal, students will begin a new 2-year cycle of certification from the American Heart Association. Students must show proof of CPR certification by uploading both the AHA and the RQI e-card into Viewpoint. Noncompliance may result in the student’s removal from clinical placement(s) and inability to progress in the program.
